1. Use of Service

Our service provides software tools for interior designers to create specification documents. You may use our platform to manage these specifications, create & manage projects, collaborate with clients, and store design-related files. Any misuse of the service for illegal activities, harassment, or unauthorized commercial purposes is strictly prohibited.

You must be at least 18 years old to use our service. By using Inspec, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

2. User Account and Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

You may only create one account per person or business entity. Creating multiple accounts or sharing accounts is not permitted.

3. Intellectual Property and Content

The designs, projects, and content you create using our service remain owned by you. However, by using our service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, display, and process your content as necessary to provide the service.

You retain all rights to your creative work and client projects. We will not use your designs for any purpose other than providing our service to you.

Our platform, software, and associated intellectual property are owned by Inspec and protected by copyright and other laws.

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• The content you upload, create, and share through our platform
• Ensuring you have the right to use any images, materials, or content you upload
• Maintaining appropriate backups of your important work
• Complying with all applicable laws and regulations
• Respecting the intellectual property rights of others

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purposes
• Upload malicious software or harmful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with other users' use of the service
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract our source code

5. Payment and Billing

Subscription fees are processed through Stripe and are charged in advance. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated or required by law.

We may change our pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing cycle.

If payment fails, we may suspend your account until payment is resolved.

6. Data and Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, but you acknowledge that no system is completely secure. We backup your data every 24 hours to prevent significant data loss.

7. Service Availability

While we strive for high availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access to our service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience technical issues that temporarily affect service availability.

We are not responsible for any losses resulting from service interruptions, though we will make reasonable efforts to minimize downtime.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Our service is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. We disclaim all warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our service, including lost profits, data loss, or business interruption.

Our total liability to you for any claims related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your access to the service will cease, though your data will be retained according to our Privacy Policy.

We may terminate or suspend your access to our service at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these terms or other reasons we deem necessary.

Upon termination for cause, you may lose access to your data. We encourage regular backups of important work.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through our platform.

By continuing to use the service after changes are made, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you should discontinue use of the service.
