We're Nick and Caitlin, two Australians now based in one of Europe's leading design hubs, Copenhagen. We are the co-founders behind Inspec.
Together, we bring expertise in both software engineering and interior design, to solve a problem Caitlin has experienced first-hand throughout her career: the lack of great purpose-built specification software for interior designers.
During 2025, we began developing Inspec as a bootstrapped company, combining Nick's technical development skills with my deep understanding of design workflows. We've now created a tool that not only streamlines a notably time-consuming process, but looks beautiful and encourages designers to spend more time on the work that matters most.
